Calling all Crafters, Makers, Artists and Artisans!Join us as we celebrate the Art and Artisans from the Town of Thompson and beyond. This event will feature jewelry, woodworking, food products, pottery, glass, paintings, clothing, metalwork, and much more.In 2020, the first year of this event, there were over 60 vendors and approximately 1500 shoppers. The 2021 event hosted over 80 vendors and 3000 shoppers. TLGV Adventure: Quinebaug River Paddle from Fabyan to West Thompson Lake When: 5/13/2023 @ 9:00 am Join TLGV Chief Ranger Bill Reid and Park Rangers from the West Thompson Lake, Corps of Engineers Project Area for an enjoyable springtime paddle on the Quinebaug River from Fabyan to West Thompson Lake. Feel the pull of the river under your boat as we paddle this scenic section of the Quinebaug where wildlife, including a huge variety of birds, otters and beavers. TEEG offers back to school supplies to area families. Our Back to School program is client choice, and empowers students to choose items to meet their needs. We will be distributing to local children on Saturday, August 19th from 11 AM to 2 PM at TEEG. (All are welcome!)
