Since then, we hold an annual golf event to raise funds for scholarships. We award scholarships to students going into the mental health field or environmental science. Our son had been studying to be an environmental police officer before he became ill. Mental illness is a very sad illness, often hiding itself from even some of the patient's closest friends.
